The pitch problem

They bring the client's history. You bring a point of view.

The incumbent walks in with the account history. The syndicated tracker is a year stale and everyone in the room bought the same one. You can't fund a fresh survey for every pitch — so the substance gap gets filled with conviction, and the room can tell.

The usual way

You walk in with an opinion

The incumbent has the client's first-party data and a year of context. You have a sharp point of view and a deck — and no independent evidence to settle the argument when the room pushes back.

With Realytics

You walk in with their gap

A fresh, independent read on the prospect's market and competitive field — what their customers say, where the field is pulling away, and the one finding the incumbent doesn't have. Delivered as yours.

The stale-panel problem

Syndicated trackers refresh slowly and everyone in the room has the same one. There's no edge in evidence your competitor also bought — and a year-old reading misses where the market just moved.

The first-party-data gap

The incumbent and the client team walk in with the account's own history. As the challenger you walk in with an opinion — until you bring independent evidence the client can check but didn't commission.

The per-pitch research cost

Commissioned research is slow and expensive. You can't fund a fresh study for every prospect and every market — so most of the pitch runs on assumption.

What you can ask

The whole catalogue, pointed at your client.

No narrow "agency tool" — the same reads that serve operators, FMCG brands and property funds, pointed at whichever client, category and market you're working on. Pick the job in front of you.

Win the work

Walk into the pitch already knowing the prospect's market better than they expect you to.

Competitive perception

Walk in with their gap, by attribute

Score a brand's customers on each experience dimension, set against its real competitive field — in any category and country. The one finding the incumbent doesn't have, in the prospect's own customers' words.

The real rival set

Name who they're actually measured against

Read the competitive set from where consumer opinion co-occurs, so the pitch names the right rivals — not the ones the client assumes — and the strategy aims at the real field.

Evidence over conviction

A point of view the room can't argue with

Ground the pitch in current consumer opinion rather than a stale tracker — so when the room tests the claim, the evidence is fresh, independent and yours.

Shape the work

Point the brief, the positioning, the creative and the plan at what the evidence actually says is wrong.

Execution vs product

Is it a positioning job or a delivery job?

Separate what's wrong with the product from what's wrong with the operation — so you know which brief you're writing before you write it, and the recommendation lands where the problem is.

Audience & affinity

Plan on real audience skew

Which generations and audiences a brand over- and under-indexes with, as a relative affinity skew — to point the channel plan and the creative at who the brand actually reaches and who it's losing.

Perception by market

Read where the brand lands differently

Perception moves by market and category — see where the gap to the field is widest, city by city, so the plan concentrates where it matters most.

Prove the work

Show the standing moved — and build a readout that holds when the client tests it.

Standing over time

Show what your work moved

Track how a client's consumer standing shifts by market and attribute over time — the readout that turns a renewal conversation into a results conversation.

Defensible by design

A read that survives the room

Every read names its comparison set and carries its margin of error, on public, aggregated signal — so the work holds up to the client and to procurement.

Every account, one place

Keep the whole roster current

Hold every client's market in one current view — so a recommendation is never running on last year's reading, and a new brief starts from where the market is now.

Deliver it as yours

The relationship is yours, the deliverable is yours — we're the measurement partner behind it.

Co-branded output

Reports and decks under your brand

Board-ready reports and 16:9 decks rendered in your branding or co-branded — with recorded authorization — so the work goes out as your own, not as a third party's.

Any client, any category

One platform across the whole roster

Every consumer-facing category and 252 countries on one platform — no per-category research budget, no waiting on a fresh panel for the next client in a different sector.

From chart to board deck

The format the moment needs

Ask in plain language and get the answer as a chart for the call, a written study for the review, or a deck for the board — same evidence, the format that fits the room you're in.

The work agencies put in front of their clients

Real reads an agency walks in with.

Three independent consumer reads, anonymized — win the pitch, plan the channel, brief the work. The channel and brief reads were built with media and creative agencies; the pitch read is a live example on a public brand. Each is evidence you walk into the room with.

Coffee · beauty · fast-casual — three categories, one finding

The comp set on the brief is almost always wrong — coffee, beauty, fast-casual, every time.

Wrong Comp Set, Every Category Cross-Shop, Not The Category Map Delivery Brief, Not Positioning

An agency wanted the one finding the incumbent walks in without. We read every competitive field from where consumer opinion co-occurs — and found the named comp set wrong in every category we checked. A national coffee chain's customers also-weigh a fast-food chain ahead of any coffee rival. A prestige-beauty brand's top also-weigh is a drugstore — above its obvious beauty competitor, with another drugstore at #3. Whatever category you pitch, the field the client named is rarely the field they're in. And once you have the real one, the cross-shop map says it's a delivery brief, not a positioning brief.

The read
The category map

Benchmark it against the obvious rivals

The instinct is to build the pitch around the named competitive set — coffee vs coffee, beauty vs beauty. It's the field the category map assumes and the brief defaults to.

The signal

A fast-food chain. A drugstore. Two of three

Who their customers actually also-weigh: a national coffee chain's #1 cross-shop is a fast-food chain, with no national coffee rival in the set. A prestige-beauty brand's top two also-weighs are drugstores, not beauty banners. The field is wrong — and the set shifts city by city, so it has to be re-pulled per market before every pitch.
